Vision And Mission
As a governing committee that assumed office in the 30th year of decentralization of powers, our development vision is to ensure that governance and administrative responsibilities reach every section of society. This vision is rooted in social justice–based development, the localization of sustainable development, and addressing the development gaps identified through situational analysis.
Although we have made significant progress in the service and infrastructure sectors over the years, it is essential to recognize that we still have a long way to go in the production sector.
Since the beginning of decentralized planning, we have overcome many challenges. However, new-generation challenges now stand before us, including floods and natural disasters caused by climate change, the increasing tendency toward suicide among both the elderly and children, the spread of substance abuse, mobile phone addiction, waste management issues, and the conservation of natural resources.
Our development strategy is to integrate the suggestions and opinions emerging from working groups, Grama Sabhas, and development seminars into practical projects, thereby addressing these challenges and bringing order to many irregular systems. With the support and participation of all the people of the Panchayath, let us move forward together in implementing this vision and strategy.
